Students from across North Wales and Chester started their week work experience at the NW2URC laboratory on Monday 10th July 2017. This year we have seven students who will be working with us and undertaking laboratory taster sessions during the week.

Abhishek, an MSc Molecular Medicine graduate from Brunel University, has recently stared his PhD working in affiliation with NW2URC. Abhishek's research will primarily focus on prostate cancer patients.
Jacob Mear, a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Chester, has recently stared his PhD working in affiliation with NW2URC. Jacob's research will primarily focus on kidney stone patients.
Alyson Moyes will be finishing with the NW2URC on Friday, 30th September 2016. Alyson, a final year PhD student investigating into kidney stone disease, has secured a lectureship position at the School of Medical Sciences, Bangor University.
